Clean Drinking Water @ Rs 2

clean drinking

A product that could be a game changer, in being able to provide clean drinking water to people, especially in rural areas, where water testing capabilities are limited, was developed by a group of researchers from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The product has the capability to produce water that is inorganic and is free from hard metal. The good news does not end here. The device cost only Rs 2. The product has been granted an Indian patent. If and when the device becomes available from the public at large, it could go a long way in being able to provide clean drinking water, that too at an affordable price.
